Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting. As a contract SLP, you will have the opportunity to work with students aged K-12 in a small town with a close-knit community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs, utilizing your expertise to identify areas of concern and develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans, presenting them to parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to student success.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns, fostering a culture of communication and cooperation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records for all students on your caseload, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Organize and manage your student caseload, developing a schedule that ensures efficient use of time and resources.
  • Design and develop resource materials for use in speech and language development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research-based interventions.

Requirements:

  • Oregon SLP license, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field.
