Viatris is seeking a Quality Technician, Inspections to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining our high standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Product Inspection: Perform physical counts of outsourced products received and prioritize and perform attribute inspections of outsourced products.
- Product Requisition Processing: Process product requisitions and returned goods, and assign disposition.
- Product Specification Management: Create and maintain product specifications for outsourced products and accurately compare product specifications with product.
- Notice of Rejection and TrackWise Management: Process Notice of Rejections and TrackWise records for damaged products and returned goods.
- Temperature Data Collection: Collect temperature data for temperature monitored shipments.
- Warehouse Operations: Operate forklift or related warehouse equipment as needed to perform job and maintain and report departmental metrics.
- Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience. Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Must possess knowledge of SOPs, GMPs, the Distribution Center Operation as well as processes with external departments. Must understand and adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures as well as government regulations.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, math and problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, and pay meticulous attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Must possess a working knowledge of SAP computer program, Microsoft office applications, and data logger devices and software applications.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to operate or be willing to learn how to operate forklift and/or warehouse equipment.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
