We are seeking a skilled Structural Fitter to join our team at a custom metal fabrication plant in the Coraopolis area. As a Structural Fitter, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing structural steel components.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate and assemble structural steel components, including beams, angles, channels, and square tubes.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and equipment.
- Use gas cutting torches, grinders, pipe threaders, and welders to perform various metal fabrication tasks.
- Read blueprints and tape measures to ensure accurate measurements and installations.
- Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Two years of experience with overhead cranes is required.
- Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.
- Basic math skills and some geometry.
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, climb, and lift 50lbs.
- Accurate loading and unloading shipments and pulling and packing products.
- Competitive hourly rate of $19-$26 based on experience.
- Weekly pay every Friday.
- Lots of overtime available on Fridays.
