Job Overview

ZEMA Global Data US, LLC is seeking an experienced Enterprise Relationship Management Lead to drive revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships with high-value clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management & Growth:
    • Manage and grow a portfolio of key strategic accounts.
    • Develop deep client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and partner.
    • Create tailored strategies to drive retention, expansion, and satisfaction.
  • Business Development & Sales Strategy:
    • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities within existing accounts by linking business performance / strategic goals to desired Zema outcomes.
    • Creation of proposals, assist in RFP responses, and communication of the value proposition to align solutions with client needs.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, and Customer Success) to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs.
    • Lead contract negotiations and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Customer Insights & Planning:
    • Analyze client business objectives, industry trends, and challenges to propose solutions that align with their strategic goals.
    • Develop and maintain account plans that outline key milestones, growth opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Plan and execute Quarterly Business Reviews for assigned, strategic accounts.
    • Continuously provide and update Market Maps, Account Plans and multi-year strategic value maps.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
    • Provide regular forecasts, pipeline updates, and reports to leadership.
    • Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to represent the company and build relationships.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelors degree in business, engineering, marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management or business development.
  • Experience in the Energy and Commodities industries is mandatory.
  • Proven experience managing complex, high-value SaaS opportunities and accounts, while exceeding revenue targets.
  • ETRM/trading platform experience preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer needs and market trends.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, MEDDIC), and pipeline management.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, problem-solving and presentation skills with experience interfacing at the executive level.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
  • Experience in creating and managing Enterprise Software forecasts.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
