About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer to join our team at Aleron. As a Technical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Technology management, Engineers, and support teams to implement and manage technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and execute technical solutions that meet or exceed current and future needs of the organization.
  • Review infrastructure, implement, and design, create support and architectural documentation, standards, policies, analysis, and testing.
  • Interact with business partners to ensure clarity of the problem/opportunity and elicit business requirements.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators.
  • Review documentation, proposals, and changes proposed by less experienced staff.
  • Seek to expand knowledge and understanding of financial services trends, practices, and technologies.
  • Follow and promote the use of industry best practices, standards, and procedures.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of specific systems and services supported by the department.
  • Work with senior technical staff to understand, manage, and support elements of the Bank service catalog.
  • Understand and adhere to the company risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.
  • Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client brand.
  • Maintain client internal control standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in systems design, management, and architecture.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in programming languages and ability to program.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a technical engineering position involving infrastructure design technologies, data management and interchange, system design and development for complex applications.
  • Experience in Performance & Load Testing.
  • Experience in Dynatrace.
  • Loadrunner experience.
  • C programming language knowledge.
  • Systems Infrastructure knowledge.
  • Ability to do basic statistical mathematics needed.
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business and functional requirements into structured high-quality implementations.
  • Advanced technical skills.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and expertise in industry and vendor technologies.
  • Able to solicit, gather, document, and analyze system specifications and requirements.
