About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Production Manager to join our team at BrightView Landscapes. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective scheduling and resource allocation strategies to meet client needs and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with senior production managers to execute day-to-day goals and objectives, and provide support as needed.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect properties and ensure that quality and appearance meet client and company standards.
  • Manage all aspects of landscape/tree care services, including coordination of materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor irrigation systems, identify problems or necessary repairs, and communicate recommendations to the appropriate party.
  • Perform hands-on work with crews as needed to meet work and scheduling demands.
  • Implement and enforce BrightView policies and procedures related to equipment maintenance, storage, use, and training.
  • Work with account managers to identify staffing needs, hire new crew employees, and prepare daily crew schedules.
  • Provide hands-on training and support to crew employees, including proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards.
  • Implement methods to improve safe workplace practices and monitor safety records.
  • Maintain and manage all required administrative systems, including time sheets and service schedules.
  • Coordinate with the branch administrator to ensure branch databases are consistently updated with current client information.
  • Order materials as needed and monitor costs and deliveries.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of prior working experience in the landscaping or tree care industry or local marketplace or equivalent educational experience.
  • A minimum of a 2-year degree in a landscape-related field or certification by a landscape or tree care association preferred.
