Job Description:

NESCO Inc is seeking a skilled Electronic Test Technician to join our team at our East Camden, Arkansas facility.

The successful candidate will work with a team of technicians to test, troubleshoot, and resolve issues on various types of hardware, including missile guidance sets, full-up missiles, launch containers, and large wheeled and tracked military vehicles.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting tests and troubleshooting issues on electronic assemblies and units
  • Setting up test apparatus and conducting tests following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences
  • Adjusting and calibrating systems as required
  • Correcting malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components
  • Using hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices
  • Determining types of tests to be performed and analyzing test results to evaluate performance of products and equipment
  • Assisting engineers in design and development of test procedures for new products and recommending product improvements or manufacturing modifications

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Ability to work in an Explosive environment
  • The ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance is required for this position

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using a standard digital multimeter (DMM)
  • Familiarity with advanced test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital power supplies, signal generators, digital multimeters
  • Familiarity with the mate/demate of electrical contacts and connectors
  • Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge and ESD mitigation principles
  • Familiarity with working in a teaming environment
  • Good communication skills, including interface with USG Customer
  • Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9000 systems a plus
  • Basic blueprint reading/understanding of schematics a plus
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite a plus
