Work Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Work Planner to join our team at Swift Transportation. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations.

• Market Analysis: Conduct daily market reviews to identify opportunities and challenges, and provide creative solutions to exceed customer expectations.
• Load Planning: Determine the balance, capacity, and demand of loads and trucks, and assign loads to trucks to optimize efficiency.
• Customer Relationship Management: Continuously increase your understanding of assigned markets and customers, and share findings with sales and/or customer account employees to develop optimal solutions.
• Process Improvement: Actively review reports to identify waste opportunities and collaborate with sales and/or customer accounts to develop and implement process improvements.

• Experience: 2+ years' experience in operations, planning, and/or customer accounts.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., logistics, business administration, supply chain management).
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
