Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all aspects of the closing and reporting processes, including journal entry preparation, general ledger account reconciliation, and monthly variance analysis for income statement and balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in creating monthly global consolidated financial statements, focusing on intercompany account reconciliation, eliminating entries, and necessary foreign exchange translation adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies.
  • Utilize accounting principles to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
  • Research accounting regulations and document company policies, coordinating the implementation of accounting controls.
  • Prepare loan compliance documentation.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of internal controls.
  • Recommend enhancements to accounting systems and procedures.
  • Prepare audit schedules for external audits and liaise with auditors.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting and reporting, including maintaining schedules, calculating depreciation, and organizing annual inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with tax consultants on tax-related matters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including special projects and ad hoc reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Three to five years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Preferred experience in consolidated financial statement preparation.
  • Background in audit, public accounting, or internal audit is advantageous.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial services or distribution operations is a plus.
  • Experience with established ERP and GL systems is desirable.
  • Minimal travel may be required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
