CNC Lathe Operator

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating multi-spindle bar fed mill-turn CNC lathes to produce precision parts while adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines using M & G codes.
• Load existing programs and make necessary edits to ensure accurate part production.
• Conduct dry runs in single block mode to verify program correctness.
• Produce first article inspection parts and document dimensions in compliance with ISO standards.
• Utilize measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to confirm parts meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, ensuring oils, lubricants, and coolant levels are adequate.
• Report any machine malfunctions to maintenance for prompt repair.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines.
• Strong understanding of ISO documentation and first article inspection processes.
• Excellent shop math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
