Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve store performance, establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports, and identify training and development opportunities to enhance employee performance.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that store personnel adhere to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies to minimize losses, and provide excellent customer service by resolving operational customer concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Team Management: Supervise the day-to-day operations of the team, escalate issues to the appropriate level of support and/or leadership when necessary, and ensure direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist the direct leader with maintaining proper stock levels through appropriate product ordering, and ensure the quality and freshness of products for sale and accuracy of product signage.
  • Financial Management: Assist the direct leader with achieving the store payroll and total loss budget, and ensure compliance with all established company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment, with prior management experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to stay organized and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner, and ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
