About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Triumph Group. As a key member of our Electronics Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom solutions for electronic engine control applications.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting cost and schedule objectives.
  • Develop and allocate technical requirements, ensuring compliance with internal processes and standards.
  • Generate block diagrams and perform preliminary and detailed analyses to ensure design feasibility and effectiveness.
  • Ensure overall compliance to internal processes, including NPI, Standard Work, and Design Reviews.
  • Meet or exceed design-to-cost and design-to-weight targets.
  • Support internal and external customer meetings, providing technical expertise and guidance.
  • Perform design assurance and qualification testing to ensure product reliability and quality.
  • Support the transition of programs from development to production.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • More than 7 years of relevant avionics design experience, with prior aerospace experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of analog circuit design, digital interfacing, and modeling and simulation tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Desired Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in CAD tools, such as PADS and Cadence.
  • Experience with test procedures, technical reporting, and lab equipment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes in an aerospace electronics environment.
