Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Stability Direct is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Oroville, California.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various radiology procedures in the Interventional Radiology lab, including kyphoplasty, pacemakers, and implantable defibrillators. They will work closely with physicians and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the lab and provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiology procedures in the Interventional Radiology lab, including kyphoplasty, pacemakers, and implantable defibrillators.
  • Assist physicians during procedures, maintaining a sterile technique and adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning, shaving, and prepping.
  • Process x-ray images and archive them to comply with hospital policies and regulations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely patient billing, reviewing procedures and verifying CPT and ICD-10 codes.
  • Assist with maintaining environmental integrity and aesthetics, ensuring all areas are clean, sanitary, and safe.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Prefer minimum of one year experience in Interventional Radiology.
  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school and ability to meet requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
  • Current BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross for Healthcare Providers.
  • Working knowledge of interventional equipment, procedures, and materials/supplies needed for each procedure.
  • Experience with special procedures utilizing a C-ARM.
  • Knowledge of sterile techniques, universal precautions, and personal protective equipment.
  • Experience with monitoring and maintaining inventory.
  • Proficient use of PACS computers and related software such as Microsoft Office products.
  • Fluoro license required.
