Job Title: Employment Law Attorney

Our esteemed law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Employment Law Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about providing legal advice and support to businesses and individuals alike, on various employment law matters.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice on a broad range of employment matters, including drafting and negotiating employment agreements, separation agreements, bonus plans, commission plans, and compensation arrangements.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into workplace misconduct allegations, including harassment and discrimination claims.
  • Manage crisis situations effectively, minimizing legal risk and potential damage to our clients.
  • Assist clients in addressing and overcoming career challenges through the development of strategic legal solutions.
  • Draft standard employment documents and ensure they are legally sound and compliant with current laws and regulations.
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting compelling arguments and defending their interests.
  • Stay updated on new laws, regulations, and industry trends that may affect our clients, and provide them with proactive legal advice accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional customer service and ensuring their legal needs are met and exceeded.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the State Bar and in good standing.
  • 4-6 years of experience in employment law, with a proven track record in handling a variety of employment issues.
  • Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.
  • Exceptional knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with a focus on issues such as misconduct, harassment, discrimination, and compensation arrangements.
  • Strong crisis management skills, with the ability to handle high-stress situations effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal advice.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate for our clients effectively.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing a heavy workload and multiple client matters simultaneously.
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
