Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our team as Pharmacist in Charge. This role will involve the compounding of products, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of safety and quality, and train and supervise pharmacy staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and compound products to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy work environment, adhering to USP 795 requirements.
  • Manage inventory and storage, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient operations.
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Train and supervise pharmacy staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Compounding Pharmacist.
  • State licensed Pharmacist and in good standing.
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of all relevant USP compounding guidelines.
  • Knowledge of state laws regulating pharmaceutical compounding practices.
  • High proficiency in computer usage.
  • Strong knowledge of product preparation, compounding, packaging, and labeling.
