Job Summary
This position serves as the pharmacist-in-charge at an existing specialty center building infusion pharmacy, supervised by Regions Hospital Pharmacy. The pharmacist will provide day-to-day pharmacy services focusing on IV preparation and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for this pharmacy. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently are essential. The primary schedule for this position is weekday day shifts, with the possibility of weekend, evening, and holiday shifts in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medication orders and dispense medications and related supplies
- Monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information to healthcare providers
- Oversee the work of direct support personnel and perform related duties as assigned
