Clinical Infectious Diseases Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Faculty member in Infectious Diseases to join our team at the University of Kentucky. This is an exciting opportunity to expand the Division of Infectious Diseases within the Department of Internal Medicine.

Main Responsibilities
  • Attend UK HealthCare inpatient consult services and ambulatory services for a wide variety of illnesses, including HIV/AIDS, bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections.
  • Engage in innovative projects related to the care of vulnerable patient populations, including those affected by the opiate crisis.
Requirements
  • Board certified/board eligible in Infectious Diseases
  • Strong teaching and clinical skills
  • Eligible for KY Medical license; Board Certified in Internal Medicine; Eligible for Infectious Diseases Board Certification
