Job Description

At National Guard Employment Network, we are committed to serving patients by developing innovative treatments. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in leading the design effort for critical projects and providing technical expertise across our global operations network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for capital projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver major capital projects, transforming the promise of science and biotechnology into therapies that have the power to restore health or save lives.
  • Develop and implement sustainable and digital solutions to advance performance, supporting Amgen's environmental sustainability goals.
  • Provide technical expertise and direction to external design firms, ensuring the delivery of high-quality electrical designs and construction.
  • Represent Amgen with outside firms, technical societies, and regulatory bodies, deploying engineering expertise to optimize Amgen's assets throughout their life cycle.
Requirements
  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Engineering experience OR Associate degree and 8 years of Engineering experience OR Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Engineering experience OR Master's degree and 2 years of Engineering experience OR Doctorate degree
  • Professional registration, such as a Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, and the ability to approach technical issues with a science-based mentality
  • Familiarity and/or experience working in a regulated environment, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
  • Knowledge of regulations (e.g. cGMP, building codes, fire codes, electrical codes, OSHA, LEED, Energy codes) to ensure compliance
