The General Service Technician is a key member of our team at Icahn Automotive Group LLC, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and performing a variety of automotive services. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Basic Automotive Services: Mount and balance tires, perform tire repairs, change oil, inspect vehicles, and perform other less technical services.
- Deliver Excellent Customer Experience: Provide advice and sell customers on recommended or required automotive services and repairs.
- Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Ensure the tire and service department is clean and safe for customers and employees.
- Assist Fellow Technicians: Assist in performing technical activities and provide support as needed.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Technical Knowledge: Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license.
- Passion for Automotive Industry: Must have a passion for a career as a technician in the automotive industry.
- Eager to Learn: Must be eager to learn and have a competitive drive to succeed.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Availability: Must be available to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
- Background Check: Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
