Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is $57,600-$65,200, based on an hourly rate of $28.00-$31.00. This compensation package includes bonus/incentive pay and a comprehensive benefits program, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) matching.
Job Description
This role is part of our Service Organization with the East Pathology Imaging (PI) Field Service Team. As a Global Diagnostic Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting customer needs, directly impacting patient health and overall well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs on Leica Biosystems equipment under moderate direction from Field Service mentors and leadership.
- Documenting and completing service administration activities in a timely manner to follow ISO, FDA, and Leica policies.
- Effectively engaging and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders, understanding and meeting their unique needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to travel up to 90%, with frequent overnight travel, and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, twisting, turning, crouching/crawling, pushing/pulling, and sitting/standing for extended periods.
