Role Responsibilities
We are looking for skilled and detail-oriented Process Technicians or Operators to enhance our New Product Introduction (NPI) operations team.
As a Process Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of our battery manufacturing processes.
Your expertise in controls or processes will aid in the development, optimization, and maintenance of production equipment and workflows, ultimately supporting the creation of high-performance batteries.
This role presents a unique opportunity to directly influence a groundbreaking battery technology.
Key Duties:
- Monitor and uphold production processes, equipment, and parameters to guarantee consistent quality and efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits and data assessments to identify deviations, trends, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implement corrective measures, and pinpoint areas for enhancement both independently and collaboratively.
- Maintain precise and current records of process parameters, maintenance tasks, and product performance.
- Contribute to the formulation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs).
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, fostering a culture of safety throughout the facility.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing updates on process performance and project statuses.
Qualifications:
- Experience in monitoring processes within an assembly, production, or related industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Familiarity with process control systems, data analysis, and statistical methods.
- Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration within a dynamic production environment.
- Adherence to safety protocols and a proactive approach to promoting a safe working environment.
- A hands-on attitude towards problem-solving and a dedication to continuous improvement initiatives.
