Position Overview:
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to meet our high standards of cleanliness and comfort, ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize cleaning supplies and maintain a tidy cart and storeroom to enhance efficiency.
  • Thoroughly clean windows, doors, walls, and fixtures in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a pristine environment.
  • Restock room amenities and replace soiled items to guarantee a welcoming experience for arriving guests.
  • Hand wash all hard floor surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures, including hard-to-reach areas.
  • Change bed linens and inspect bedding for cleanliness.
  • Check closets for cleanliness and restock supplies as needed.
  • Vacuum rooms and public areas, ensuring thorough cleaning, including moving furniture as necessary.
  • Inspect locks and equipment to ensure safety and functionality, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Safeguard equipment and supplies to protect hotel property.
  • Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Education: No formal education required.

Experience: None required.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic understanding of cleaning principles and equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Capable of pushing and moving equipment and furniture.
  • Ability to work with arms raised for extended periods.
  • Must maneuver a fully loaded cleaning cart weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Adept at identifying small debris in dimly lit areas.

Work Environment:

  • Involves prolonged physical activity in a climate-controlled setting.
  • May experience excessive heat and humidity in laundry areas.
