Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Centralized Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a key member of our sterile processing department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by providing clean and sterile instruments for our medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and sterilize medical instruments and equipment to ensure they are clean and safe for patient use
  • Maintain accurate records of instrument processing and sterilization
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely delivery of sterile instruments and equipment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of sterilization equipment
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Completion of Central Service Technician course of study or completion of healthcare organization training program, as required by location
  • Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location
  • Minimum one (1) year of related experience preferred
