Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist II to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of specialized technical tasks associated with the operation of MRI at a Level II Trauma Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family.
  • Act professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience.
  • Perform all tasks associated with Magnetic Resonance Imaging technologist II job description.
  • Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedure performance.
  • Administer contrast media or as directed and per protocol.
  • Evaluate the imaging study for technical quality, collate processed images and sequence of exposure and label appropriately.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families about the procedure to be performed.
  • Establish and maintain lines of communication with all other staff members and Radiologist to insure an effective and harmonious working environment.
  • May rotate shifts or be in an "on call" status as needed or directed by the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Required Education: Associates Degree, Allied Health or Radiologic Technology.
  • Required Experience: Minimum of 3 year experience.
  • Required Licensure and Certifications: ARRT (R)(MR), TX MRT.
