Job Summary

The Visual Merchandising Specialist is a critical role within American Freight Furniture, responsible for ensuring the flawless execution of the Picture Station process. This individual will be the primary point of contact for all aspects of the process, from implementation to inspection and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Picture Station process, ensuring 100% execution and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and notate cosmetic damage, assess and grade products, and review pictures for quality.
  • Equipment Management: Secure, maintain, and operate all Picture Station equipment, including printers and cameras.
  • Supply Chain Management: Forecast supply needs, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external partners, providing regular updates and feedback.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the General Manager to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Facility Maintenance: Clean and maintain the Picture Station area, including equipment and surrounding spaces.
  • Technical Support: Work with the IT department to resolve system issues and ensure seamless picture transfer.
Requirements
  • Basic Photography and System Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of photography principles and system operations.
  • Availability: Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts, as needed.
  • Multi-Tasking: Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Computer Literacy: Be proficient in computer software and systems.
