Job Summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Nurse Educator to join our team. This role will focus on enhancing professional practice and quality patient care through evidence-based educational programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage onboarding and orientation programs for nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust programs based on evaluation results.
  • Design and implement educational activities to address practice gaps for target audiences.
  • Promote and integrate Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) to continuously improve practice.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration required; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an acute care setting; 2+ years in clinical education preferred.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice or compact state license.
What We Offer
