At the Naval Nuclear Laboratory, we are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our Thermal Hydraulics Testing and Analysis team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in single-phase and two-phase fluid flow and heat transfer.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing test programs, specifying test conditions, and evaluating data to characterize the thermal performance of nuclear reactor core designs. Additionally, they will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience. Preferred skills include degrees in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering, as well as experience with single-phase and multi-phase heat transfer.

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,130.70 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings program, and paid parental leave.
