We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to critically ill patients, including those with cardiovascular conditions, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other healthcare team members as needed, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- At least one year of RN ICU experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a cardiovascular ICU.
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- CCRN Certification within two years of hire, preferred.
