Job Overview

As a Registered Nurse at Sunrise Senior Living, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting resident assessments, monitoring health changes, and providing personalized care. You will also work closely with our Resident Care Director to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents to identify their ongoing needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident health status and care plans.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director to develop and implement individualized care plans that address resident-specific needs and goals.
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and responding to emergencies.
  • Monitor resident health status and report any concerns or changes to the Resident Care Director or other healthcare professionals as needed.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • At least one year of experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of gerontological nursing practices, techniques, and methods.
