Job Overview:
As a Caregiving Nurse at Sunrise Senior Living, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the overall well-being of our residents. You'll be responsible for identifying ongoing needs and services, promoting resident satisfaction, and collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct monthly wellness visits for all residents, assessing their health and monitoring changes.
  2. Document all pertinent information in the resident wellness file, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  3. Collaborate with the Resident Care Director (RCD) to conduct resident assessments, provide input on care plans, and develop strategies to improve resident outcomes.
  4. Maintain effective communication with residents' families and responsible parties, addressing medical needs and concerns.
  5. Contact attending physicians when necessary, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  6. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of our care delivery systems.

Requirements:
  • A graduate degree from an approved college or school of nursing.
  • A current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
  • A minimum of one year of experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness resident care, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Excellent assessment skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
