Job Summary

Seeking a Certified Medication Aide to administer medications to residents in a skilled nursing facility.

The ideal candidate will have state certification as a nurse aide and state-approved medication administration certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Record the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
  • Observe for and report any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse.
  • Administer PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • State certification as a nurse aide
  • State-approved medication administration certification
  • Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide
  • Highly developed observation skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
