- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other medical professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Medical Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of medical concepts, including anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Communication Skills: Develop and maintain effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Technical Skills: Possess the technical skills necessary to operate medical equipment, including defibrillators, ventilators, and other life support devices.
- Stress Management: Function effectively under pressure, remaining calm and composed in high-stress situations.
- Cultural Competence: Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness when interacting with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Adaptability: Adapt to changing work conditions and priorities, including emergency situations.
- EMT Experience: Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as an Emergency Medical Technician in a busy system.
- Remote Experience: Experience working in remote settings is preferred.
- Military or Fire Experience: Prior military or fire experience is preferred.
- EMT Certification: Possess EMT Level Certification (NREMT) and AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Language Skills: Possess excellent written and oral English language skills.
- Travel: Some travel may be required.
International SOS Government Medical Services offers a competitive salary range of $59,000 to $75,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k, paid time off, and an annual bonus.
