Key Responsibilities
  • Develop mechanical designs for building projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Coordinate with other support disciplines and regional offices
  • Manage project budget and schedule compliance
  • Oversee the mechanical design of building projects throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus from an ABET accredited university or college
  • Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam
  • 5-10 years of building design and construction industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles related to building mechanical designs
  • Proven experience overseeing mechanical designs, including detailed plans and specifications for building projects
Preferred Skills
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Experience with AIA MasterSpec
  • Knowledge of Federal Agencies design criteria
