JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Generalist will oversee the daily operations of the HR department, which includes recruiting and interviewing personnel, managing compensation and benefits, and upholding company policies and practices.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Employee Engagement:

Cultivate positive employee relations by acting as a reliable resource and offering guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Address employee inquiries, conduct necessary investigations, and propose suitable resolutions.



Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
Partner with hiring managers to assess staffing requirements, create job descriptions, and attract high-caliber candidates. Manage the recruitment cycle, which includes sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and providing hiring recommendations. Ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires, fostering a positive transition experience.

HR Policies and Regulatory Compliance:
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations to ensure HR policies and practices are compliant. Regularly review and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures to align with best practices and legal standards.

Compensation and Benefits Management:
Support the administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Oversee payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Address payroll discrepancies promptly and collaborate with finance for timely payroll execution. Stay updated on market trends to assist in formulating competitive compensation packages.

Process Improvement:
Identify and implement opportunities to enhance payroll and benefits processes for greater efficiency. Participate in the creation and execution of HR policies and procedures related to payroll and benefits administration. Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with a focus on payroll processing and benefits management.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Previous experience in a related industry is preferred.
