Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
* Conduct in-depth tax research and planning to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations and to identify tax-saving opportunities.
* Provide strategic tax advisory services to clients, addressing complex tax issues and developing tax strategies.
* Manage and mentor a team of tax associates, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
* Maintain and enhance client relationships through effective communication and delivery of high-quality tax services.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and timely filing of all required tax documents.
* Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations, assessing their impact on clients and advising accordingly.
* Collaborate with other departments to support business development initiatives and cross-functional projects.
* Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax operations.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification required.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax, with supervisory experience preferred.
* Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
* Proficiency in tax preparation software (preferably CCH) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven leadership and team management abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
