Dialysis Nurse Specialist

A Dialysis Registered Nurse plays a critical role in our in-center hemodialysis units, working as part of a patient care team to ensure safe and high-quality care for every patient.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare dialysis machines and treatment supplies to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and procedures
- Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
- Monitor patients during dialysis and communicate changes with physicians and families
- Administer and chart prescribed medications
- Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
- Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
- Document patient education efforts
- Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
- Assist with medication inventory maintenance
- Lead a small patient care team
- Contribute to onboarding new staff members
