This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization of tools, parts, vehicles, and equipment throughout the day. Responsibilities include parking and staging vehicles, retrieving parts, transporting vehicles to vendors, managing paperwork, and supporting the fleet maintenance division of public works.
Schedule
Regular hours to be determined; maximum of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to respond to emergencies on an on-call basis.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Safety training experience.
- Prior experience in a public works fleet maintenance setting.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
