Musculoskeletal Integrated Practice Unit Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Musculoskeletal Integrated Practice Unit in Grand Rapids, MI. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive care for patients with back, neck, hip, and knee pain using a biopsychosocial model. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address the full spectrum of patient needs, including the impact of social determinants of health.
Responsibilities:
Develop integrated treatment plans that optimize function and quality of life, with a focus on whole-person well-being. Provide patient education regarding condition - health and wellness orientation. Collaborate with patients to develop shared decision-making regarding treatment options. Provide opioid weaning support when needed. Refer patients to appropriate services, including imaging, physical therapy, pain medicine, pain psychology, and lifestyle medicine.
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies. Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Michigan. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Experience in PM&R, Neuro, or Orthopedics. Strong commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication skills.
