In the role of Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our properties. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a multi-family environment, demonstrate outstanding technical abilities, and be dedicated to upholding high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Your Responsibilities:

  • General Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the functionality of various systems within the property.
  • Unit Readiness: Prepare vacant units for incoming residents, ensuring they meet the required standards for occupancy.
  • Technical Skills: Hold HVAC 608 Certification and exhibit proficiency in electrical and plumbing tasks.
  • Safety Standards: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate efficiently with residents, team members, vendors, and supervisors to resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the service team to enhance the property’s curb appeal and maintain high standards.

Qualifications:

  • HVAC 608 Certification is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in multi-family property maintenance and team leadership.
  • Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with residents, team members, vendors, and supervisors.
  • Commitment to resident satisfaction and exceptional customer service.
  • Familiarity with preventive and general maintenance practices.
  • A college degree is advantageous.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
