About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Dear Charles, a vibrant restaurant located in the heart of The Study at Johns Hopkins. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Take orders, serve food and beverages, and handle payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and other servers to ensure seamless service.
  • Upsell and promote menu items, specials, and events to increase revenue and enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a fine dining or upscale casual environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in English required; a second language is desirable.
