Froster Cake Decorator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Froster to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cakes that meet our strict standards.

• Follow proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision to achieve productivity goals.
• Effectively utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes.
• Prioritize cake pre-orders according to schedule and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly.
• Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintain appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels.
• Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintain frosting and refrigeration logs.
• Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
• Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure Nothing Bundt Cakes standards are met and inform management of any quality control issues.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock workstation, ensure frosting supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift, and wash any equipment in the absence of the Dishwasher/Utility Employee.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and Nothing Bundt Cakes policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.

• Ability to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.

• Ability to perform repetitious tasks that require precise and continuous movement of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Physical capacity to lift items of moderate to heavyweight (as much as 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work on a tight, fast-paced production schedule.

• Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays, based on changing business demands.
• Hours of Operations: Monday - Friday: 9am - 7pm, Saturday: 10am - 6pm, Sunday: Closed
