Job Overview

McAdams is a leading land planning, landscape architecture, and civil engineering firm seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will work on a variety of projects, from conceptual site plans to construction administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and production of civil engineering construction documents and conceptual site plans
  • Complete civil utility and site design, including water, sanitary sewer, storm drain, and storm water management
  • Coordinate with architects, landscape architects, project team, contractors, and owners
  • Work alongside project team in accordance with company standards from concept phase through construction administration

Requirements:

  • Four-year bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in civil engineering
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with storm drain, sanitary sewer, water distribution networks, and site grading
