Job Summary:

MedStar Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at MedStar Health: Orthopedics at Lorton. As an Outpatient Orthopedic Radiology Technologist, you will support the Department of Orthopedics in a hybrid role, both as a Radiology Technologist and an Orthopedic Technologist.

This is a high-volume ambulatory setting where you will assist the department in a variety of patient care and radiography functions. You will be responsible for preparing exam rooms and instruments, cleaning and sterilizing equipment, and updating the EHR system. Additionally, you will take vital signs, apply and remove casts and splints, and assist physicians with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.

Qualifications include 1-2 years' work experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a high-volume outpatient setting. You must be ARRT registered and hold a Radiology Technologist license in the State of Maryland, Virginia, and/or DC. BLS certification is also required. Orthopedic X-ray experience is preferred, and an Associate degree is preferred.

This position has a hiring range of $48.99.
