About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team at EMCOR Group. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the Project Manager and project team in overseeing and directing assigned commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the execution and management of project contracts, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Prepare and present computer-generated spreadsheets and reports to stakeholders.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) for project equipment, materials, and document control.
  • Maintain regular communication and collaboration with project superintendents, visiting assigned job sites as needed.
  • Generate, maintain, and facilitate project documentation, including requests for information, submittals, project plans, specifications, and subcontract documentation.
  • Ensure attention to detail, efficiency, and integrity in work product.
  • Flexibility is required to adapt to changing project environments and locations.
  • Valid driver's license and responsible transportation are necessary for commuting to various project sites.
  • Attend and conduct meetings as required, complying with company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience attaining Journeyman status.
  • Prior internship experience in a related field and/or one to three years of mechanical, plumbing, and/or industrial HVAC field experience.
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of and ability to apply OSHA safety standards.
  • Working knowledge of construction contract language and terms.
  • Familiarity with local market is desirable.
