About the Opportunity:

Saratech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in design engineering and a strong background in CAD modeling, part model check reviews, and project planning.

The successful candidate will assist the Engineering Services/Design team with various support duties, including:

  • Coordinating with NDT (non-destructive testing) teams
  • Working on-site with maintenance technicians
  • Preparing, scheduling, and coordinating engineering projects
  • Ensuring projects are completed according to project plans
  • Identifying engineering problems and implementing solutions
  • Working with project design leads to ensure good decisions for Saratech and projects
  • Providing real-time customer feedback information
  • Translating client requirements into practical terms for the team
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
  • Prioritizing and organizing project tasks into the required timeline

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer relationship management tools and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. They will also have a strong written and verbal communication style.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Engineering Services/Design team with various support duties

Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in design engineering
  • Strong background in CAD modeling, part model check reviews, and project planning
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication style
  • Ability to quickly understand and learn new technologies
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to understand and learn professional terminology
  • Responsible, responsive, and accountable for tasks
Additional Information:

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Frequent communication and conversation with other staff
  • Ability to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Occasional movement about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
