Youth Recreation Coordinator at City and County of San Francisco

Position Overview
The Youth Recreation Coordinator plays a significant role in facilitating engaging activities that include hiking, arts and crafts, storytelling, and sports. We are looking for individuals who possess experience in leading recreational games, musical activities, and cultural events, as well as mentoring junior staff and volunteers aged 14 and older. Orientation sessions are mandatory as part of the onboarding process.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide support for various recreational programs
- Deliver program instruction and oversee activities
- Monitor facilities to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment
- Ensure high-quality programming that meets community needs

Qualifications
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with relevant experience as per the level of the position. Certifications in specialized areas may be necessary for advanced roles. First Aid and CPR certification will be required at a later stage.

Selection Criteria
