Position Overview

The Facilities Project Manager at Technology Consulting, Inc. is responsible for overseeing a variety of projects related to the reconfiguration, upkeep, construction, and modification of facilities, including equipment and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide management for construction projects, ensuring compliance with architectural standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate contractor activities and liaise with clients to meet program specifications.
  • Manage diverse projects such as renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and equipment installations.
  • Oversee all stages of project management, including requirement assessment, budgeting, scheduling, and project completion.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and strive for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and value engineering.
  • Utilize a business operating system to promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, serving as the primary contact for both large and small initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Facilities Maintenance and Operations teams.
  • Assist in the formulation of capital and operational budgets.
Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline with 5-10 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 4 years of experience is required. A background in construction management is essential, along with supervisory experience of 3-5 years.

Preferred Skills
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
  • Experience in managing the design and execution of architectural, electrical, and HVAC projects.
  • Proficient in project management and effective collaboration with contractors and team members.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including OSHA, ADA, NFPA, NEC, EPA, and local building codes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MS Project, and estimating software.
  • Experience interpreting engineering blueprints and building layouts.
  • Knowledge of both Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build methodologies.
