We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at Wise Snacks. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process to ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet the company's needs.
Key Responsibilities- Production Planning and Control: Develop and implement production plans to optimize efficiency and productivity, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demands.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Department to identify and resolve quality concerns, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of packaging and raw materials, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet production demands.
- Equipment Maintenance: Schedule maintenance and repair of machines used in the production process to minimize downtime and delays.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize production processes, reducing waste and increasing efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or Industrial Technology.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in food production and manufacturing processes and techniques, health and safety standards and compliance, process improvement techniques.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency with computerized materials control programs and Microsoft Office Suite.
The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift and move up to 15 pounds. This position involves periods of sitting and working on a computer.
