Barista

Auberge Resorts Collection is seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Mauna Lani, a luxury lifestyle resort on the Island of Hawaii. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting exquisite coffee experiences for our guests, ensuring every cup tells a story and each pour is a masterpiece.

• Greet guests in a prompt and courteous manner, explaining available items in detail.
• Record order details from guests, repeating the order back to ensure accuracy.
• Promptly and accurately input orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system to inform the kitchen/bar.
• Ensure dietary restrictions and allergies are noted on the ticket and communicated with culinary.
• Prepare beverage orders to accuracy and serve guests using proper utensils.
• Assist with collecting and situating food orders from the kitchen.
• Process cash, credit card, and charge sales for all retail and food and beverage orders.
• Balance tip slips for each server and run financial reports.

• Any combination of education that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Minimum of one year experience as a barista preferred.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
