About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our healthcare practice group in Sacramento, CA. As a Project Manager at HGA, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex healthcare projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Principal to evaluate project requirements, negotiate owner-architect agreements, and ensure project scope, profitability, schedule, and budget are met.
  • Actively manage project teams, provide day-to-day leadership, and mentor junior staff.
  • Monitor the quality of project documents, ensuring they meet schedules and budgets.
  • Enhance existing client relationships and build new ones through excellent design services.
  • Oversee correspondence, evaluate contractor bids, and develop discipline cost and work-hour budgets for each project.
  • Collaborate with Principals in the marketing of projects, development of proposals, and participation in client interviews.
Requirements
  • CA Licensed Architect with a bachelor's degree in architecture preferred.
  • 7-15 years of professional experience with increasingly complex projects; OSHPD (HCAi) experience highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Knowledge of Revit.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to interact effectively with clients and team members at all stages of a project.
  • Experience with various project delivery methods such as Design Build, IPD, and Design-Bid-Build.
  • Additional skills: Experience with Lean and Evidence-based design is a plus.
